The Man, Emmanuel Abraham

When confronted by Emmanuel Abraham to write this post I was very delighted. He is one person I really respect. I never one day thought we could be this close until he walked up to me few years ago and said to me, “I see potentials in you but you must harness it or you ruin your chance of being great” Those words struck me like thunder. How did he know? I have never thought for once about myself been great or something, I just see myself as nobody, I mean as an ordinary person but since that day he spoke those words to me, I felt something in me, something unusual sprang up within me and suddenly got me thinking out of my little corner I have placed myself and started thinking real big and do you know few years later, I became what I never imagined just because a word came from an extraordinary man who can see far beyond what most humans never think was important or necessary.
I must say I am most privilege to write a little about this man’s literary sense. I struggled to compare him with lot of writers, particularly African writers and I found him absolutely unique. His style of writing and his ability to compose stories out of nothing amazes me greatly. He just got this way of writing that keeps you wondering how he put the stories together.
There are writers but he is an exceptional writer with a great difference. When I make comparisons, I only discovered that Emmanuel Abraham stands out and is still one of the best writers around. His novels are original and suspenseful. He has this way of writing that just keep you clue to the pages of his books. Once you start you just want to finish or you just keep thinking what next if you stay away even for a minute or if you ever have a break.
There is this amazing novel he wrote that got me wondering if it wasn’t a continuation of that great book titled Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.
Emmanuel Abraham titled that amazing novel, The Village of Motanah. That book exposes the white missionaries with the African tradition and western education; it is actually a master piece from a great author. Is there any comparison with the late Chinua Achebe maybe yes and maybe no? I think he is just himself and developed his own style of writing that looks really different from others. He is a prolific writer and presently written over seventeen books! His books are in iTunes, Barnes and noble and several other online stores, worldwide. When he told me he only started writing six years ago, I was sincerely humbled that he got such huge collection of books at that small space of time. One other book he wrote that got me thinking how he did it is The Dancing Sun. It is a drama but well coordinated with cherished traditional scenes that will blow your mind. When I first saw the title, I thought for a while and ask myself, can the Sun dance? What does he mean? What does Emmanuel Abraham got in his mind? I just wanted to read and find out myself and when I eventually did, I must confess, he did an incredible work. It was as if I was watching everything, the scenes came alive in such a way I could imagine I was seeing everything.
I think in Africa, a prolific writer has been born. He is so creative and natural. And that is exactly what I like about him. The way he imagines natural scenes and uses them to polish his books is amazing. I think Chinua Achebe was a great writer but honestly, I am sure another great writer have been born, who is not just natural but very creative.
There are other suspenseful books he has written you definitely will not want to miss out to prove to you I am not mincing words about what I know of this great author. Film makers should be talking business with this great author by now because all his novels are not only, well written and interesting but act-able. Emmanuel Abraham is happily married with children and his family is a lovely one.
And with his foundation, JPC Global outreach, he is able to affect lives positively, especially the less privilege.
I can just go on and on about this great man, but I think he will be more than happy if I stop here. Please let me say this last information before I stop.
